Roger K. Allen, Ph.D.—author, consultant, coach, teacher—Roger is a highly respected expert in leadership, communication, team development, and personal and organizational change. Roger and Preston Pond founded the Center for Organizational Design in 1992 in order to help businesses create high performance/high commitment organizations. Some of Roger’s past and current clients include AT&T Capital, Ashland Chemical, Burson Marstellar, Coach Leatherware, The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (several radio stations), Denver Museum of Nature and Science, DSM Dyneema, Honeywell, Kaman Industrial Technologies, KeyTronic, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Proctor & Gamble, The US Forest Service and US West, and many others. Examples of a few recent consulting projects include redesign of a $1 B distribution company from 200 branch offices to around 20 customer support centers; redesign of a plant that manufactures high performance textiles to double production capacity; assessment and redesign of several public radio stations; successful trust building with alienated board of trustees; chartering and improving performance of several executive teams. Roger intervenes at the personal, team and organizational level to create high performing companies. Preston, along with Roger Allen, co-founded the Center for Organizational Design in 1992. Prior to that, Preston worked as an Organizational Development Manager for Proctor and Gamble for several years, involved in new plant startups and collaborative work redesign efforts in the US, Japan and Mexico. Then as Director of Organizational Development for Clark Equipment Company, he spearheaded social-technical systems redesign efforts in both union and non-union settings. He worked internally at the plant, division and corporate levels. As an external organizational consultant since 1985, Preston has worked with a variety of Fortune 500 companies in the US, Mexico, Japan and Puerto Rico. He has lived in Mexico and Japan and enjoys working in English, Spanish and Japanese. Consulting with both large and small organizations, Preston has implemented organization design and team development strategies at all organization levels. He has also been instrumental in the collaborative redesign of traditional union organizations and helped redesign a variety of corporate professional groups. Some recent projects include: redesigning AT&T Capital’s government business units; helping Space Shuttle Operations move to self-directed work teams; supporting the US Forest Service redesign of 19 California forests; the restructuring of Coach manufacturing and distribution locations and the design of Product Development and Sales for Hallmark Japan. Preston is married and has four children. He enjoys family, skiing, reading and music.

Starr is Founding Partner of The Organizational Systems Design (OSD) Consulting Group. As a pioneer in the field of Organizational Design he co-created the original OSD Model and Methodology in 1984. He has been an architect in the design of High-Performance Work Systems for over 30 years. His work in aligning Business Strategy, Strategic Human Resources, Leadership and Change Management has enabled a practical approach for comprehensive large-scale design, redesign and change in a fast paced global economy. Recent client work has included: Leading the start-up of an innovative team-based design for a new $1B metals production facility in Iceland; Leading the re-design and implementation of the largest division of a top US Defense contractor; Faculty Lead for a top Financial services company Executive program; Leader of a newly designed global Human Resources Education program for 300 members of a top European pharmaceutical company. Consulting clients have included 3M, Alcoa, American Express Financial Services, AT&T, Corning, Bell Helicopter/Textron, Citi-Group, EDS, Ely Lilly, Exxon, IBM, Lucent, Kellogg’s, Merck, Nationwide, Novartis, PacifiCare Health Systems, Tennessee Eastman, UNUM Insurance Co., U.S. Air Force, and others. Prior to forming The OSD Consulting Group, he was a Partner at The RBL Group; President of Corporate Systems Design; VP of The OSD Division of Franklin Quest; Managing Partner of The OSD Alliance; and an Internal OD Leader at Exxon Enterprises. He holds a Master of Organizational Behavior (MOB) from Brigham Young University and is a faculty member with Duke Corporate Education and continues as a Consulting Partner with The RBL Group.

Ray is an Organization and Management Consultant with over 25 years experience in Human Resources, Organization Development, Change Leadership, and Project Management. Through his work both as an internal and an external consultant, Ray has helped individuals, teams and organizations improve their productivity and effectiveness through coaching, organization design, HR process improvements, strategy & change execution, and leadership development. He has worked with firms such as Merck & Co., Avon Products, Merrill Lynch, and Citigroup leading and managing individuals and teams both domestically and internationally (with work experience in over 15 countries outside the U.S.).
He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan and is currently a New York State Licensed Psychologist. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He is on the faculty of Rutgers University's Business School, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate business students in the Management & Global Business Department.
Ray has published several journal articles and is a former member of the editorial board of a professional journal, Group and Organization Studies. He has chaired and participated in symposiums at conventions of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Ray lives in New Jersey with his wife and children. He is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Young Adult Institute, a non-profit organization serving the disabled in New York, and continues to volunteer in his spare time.

Bruce Sandy is a certified coach and consultant with over 24 years experience as a coach, consultant, senior executive, recruiter and trainer. Ward is a successful business services executive with over 30 years experience leading and managing individuals, teams and organizations. As an independent management consultant, Mr. Anderson provided business management consulting services to public and private firms such as Old Mutual Capital, Jackson National Life, AIMCO, Colorado Golf Club and Dale Carnegie Training.
Mr. Anderson was Senior Vice President and Board Member for a $20 million business unit of a Fortune 500 Corporation. Prior to his C Level and Board Governance duties, Ward had leadership roles as Vice President of Corporate Development (M&A), Vice President of Marketing and President of a Securities Broker/Dealer.
Mr. Anderson has served on the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, Retirement & Estate Planning Committee; Association for Corporate Growth, Denver Chapter, Executive Committee and Board Member.
Mr. Anderson completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Brigham Young University and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 Securities Licenses.

Steven has successfully developed and managed the learning and communications initiatives for tens of thousands of employees at Fortune 500 companies and universities. He designs and develops print and electronic media as well as high-end E-learning modules to assist learning and improve performance. He received a BA from Southern Virginia University and a Masters degree in Organizational Communication from Idaho State University. Provided research, scripting, and editorial work for an executive-level leadership development course distributed to an international network of over 600 independent consultants.
- Scripted, designed and developed the computer-based retail sales training courses for over 15,000 sales associates.
- Managed production for multiple orientation and training videos distributed to a chain of 460 stores across the U.S.
- Designed and developed 12 web-based (LMS) E-learning modules for distribution to over 10,000 national and international customer service call-center agents.
- Performed needs assessments and developed instructor-led technical training materials for distribution to over 4,500 satellite TV installation and management personnel on a bi-weekly basis.
- Routinely developed technical communication updates and job aids for distribution to over 10,000 corporate retail partners and subcontractors.
- Received Peak Performance Award for executive-level customer education needs assessment. Assessment resulted in corporate-wide initiatives to reduce call-in-rates and improve customer education processes.
- Developed technical installation training modules for broadband satellite Internet service and performed train-the-trainer sessions for 30 regional trainers.
- Restructured on-the-job training documentation and train-the-trainer course used to annually train over 5,000 new technicians.
- Collaborated with Corporate Counsel and Risk Management Director to write and produce LMS-based E-learning modules on Accident Reporting (OSHA) and Sexual Harassment Awareness.
